From a young age, I have been passionate about business and entrepreneurship. At 17, I founded a tutoring school for K-5 students who needed extra help. The idea of creating something valuable that benefits others truly excites me. Initially, I majored in Chemistry, but after relocating to Maryland, I switched focus to Accounting, earning my Advanced Accounting degree from UMUC in 2010. My desire to assist others led me to explore ways to apply my newfound expertise.
I immediately began gaining experience in the field while still in school, working as a Controller, CFO, Accountant, and Full Charge Bookkeeper for various medium to large construction firms and non-profit organizations. Eventually, I returned to my entrepreneurial roots by establishing my own firm, aiming to leverage my experience and knowledge to provide valuable services to my clients.
Many small to medium-sized construction company owners face the challenge of completing projects profitably. During my corporate tenure, I recognized this gap within the community. After successfully helping a local construction company streamline their accounting processes, I understood that many owners couldn’t afford a full administrative and accounting team. This insight fueled my determination to create an efficient system that delivers the necessary outcomes without the hefty expense of a complete staff.
Thus, I founded Dependable Solutions, offering comprehensive business solutions designed to enhance owners' business health and alleviate time and emotional stress. I have collaborated with some of the brightest minds in legal, financial planning, and tax to provide my clients with advanced tax strategies and planning. My clients reap the benefits of proven, innovative strategies that many professionals have yet to discover.

With over six years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, Delina brings a wealth of knowledge to every client relationship. Her journey in the field began as an Accounting Clerk, where she honed her skills in recording daily transactions and preparing business reports. Over the years, Delina has grown into a seasoned Full-Charge Bookkeeper and Staff Accountant, trusted for her attention to detail, deep understanding of business operations, and commitment to excellence.
